COMING SOON!

To many people, the C2 Stingrays from 1963-67 represent some of the most desirable Corvette models.  Ergonomics, power, and handling were all much improved from the previous generations, and combined with stunning good looks, it proved to be a winner!

This beautiful example is in code-correct Daytona Blue with blue leather interior and white convertible top.  This is a rare color combination.  Less than 1% of 1964 Stingrays were made with the blue leather interior.  This numbers-matching car originally came from California.

The drivetrain is an "RF" (327-cid 375-hp V-8 with 11.0:1 compression ratio, manual 4-speed transmission, and fuel injection).   The original owner removed the mechanical fuel injection and replaced with a 4-BBL carb, essentially making it equivalent to the "RE" engine with 365 hp.  The carb is much easier to maintain and keep running properly.  However, the original fuel injection parts come included with the car should the new owner want to revert back to it's original state.

The car has an aftermarket AC system and power brakes.

This Stingray went through a thorough freshening of the drivetrain and body in 1987-89 and comes with a binder of receipts from the work that was done.  After the original California owner, it was owned in Kentucky and Indiana.  Before taking the Stingray in on trade for an Evora 400, Gator Motorsport did work on the Stingray for the previous owner.   In 2017, the following work was done to the vehicle:

- Replaced headlight switch, wiring and leads to the switch
- Diagnosed headlight motor sync issue.  Need to replace or rebuild motors to ensure consistent sync
- Oil change with Valvoline VR1 high Zinc oil
- Replace rear main engine seal.  Included Oil pan gasket, transmission pan gasket, gear oil, differential grommet busing set
- Replaced Clutch and Flywheel
- Replace right rear wheel cylinder
- Replaced all wheel studs and retorqued to spec
- Installed brake bias valve to prevent overpowering rear drum brakes
- Refreshed front suspension:
    - Replaced Tie Rod ends
    - Replaced Performance Shock Struts
    - Replaced Upper and Lower Ball Joints
    - Replaced worn swaybar link
    - Performed 4-wheel alignment
- Replaced HEI Distributor
- Replaced Tach Cable
- Replaced HEI Power Harness
- Replaced HEI Plug Wires
- Adjusted trunk latch
- Repaired Reverse lights

The car is being prepped and detailed, and will soon be ready for it's new home.
